What do you need to know or even want to know about me – Blondie Abroad? I’m just – your average Brit who loves nothing better than to be planning my next holidays. Yes holidays! Until Covid came along we would have at least 3 in the pipeline at a time! I have been very fortunate!
In my blogs I’ve tried to write about sights you may not have heard of at your chosen destination. I always love reading about the unusual places people find when they dig a little deeper. My hope is you find some sights I’ve found useful too! Blondie Abroad is all about me passing on what I’ve found so that you can enjoy them too. I therefore hope that some of you do!
Where Am I Now?
Well, last year was a bit of a crazy year; I ended up quitting my job of 18 years, the fun had stopped so I literally ‘stopped’. This has freed up my time considerable for me to learn a new skill (coding in a variety of different languages) and also enabled us to travel a lot more! We have just got back from another fabulous month in Thailand. Last year was so much fun there we did it all again – but better! We began in Koh Lanta where I discovered some amazing restaurants and beaches. Our second destination was Krabi where we climbed up over 1000 steps to reach the top of the Tiger Cave Temple. It was Chinese New Year when we arrived in Phuket Old Town which was really interesting. And last but by no means least we finished in Khao Lak staying at two different ends of the area.
