Koh Kood’s Luxury ‘High Season Pool Villa Resort’

by BlondieAbroad

It has been a dream of mine for years to stay in a villa with its own pool and during my tour of Thailands Eastern Islands that dream became a reality. I had spotted Koh Kood’s luxury ‘High Season Pool Villa Resort‘ and Spa in a magazine and instantly wanted to stay there. As described in the title, each Luxury Villa has its own pool, some more private than others. So whether you want to be able to lounge in your pool and see the sea or want complete privacy, there is a Villa for you.

Set on a Stunning Beach

These are the famous horizontally growing palm trees right by the Resort

The island of Koh Kood is beautiful and unspoilt by commercialism and therefore the beaches are simply stunning. The resort is set directly on the beachfront and some of the villas look out over the sea.

The Main Pool

The Main Pool

As well as your own private pool there is also a large main pool at your disposal, surrounded in luxury sun loungers. Set right next to the beach it has prime location overlooking the sea through palm trees.

‘Orchid Walk’

Orchid Walk

I love it when attention to detail is paid to the resorts grounds, it really makes a difference. One such walk takes you underneath and through an orchid pagoda. Where have you ever seen this before? Cashew nut trees line the entrance walkway, I had never seen one of these before, fascinating!

The Villa

  • Your Bar
  • Part of the Bathroom
  • The Lounge
  • The Main Room

Everything you could possibly need all in one stylish open plan room set on a couple of different levels. This Villa has the wow factor.

And of course – Your Own Pool!

  • Your Private Entrance
  • The Decking
  • The Pool
  • & At Night

We had a lush private pool and decking area, perfect for relaxing peacefully in away from everyone! The photos can do their own talking.

Nearby restaurants

  • View from restaurant on the hill
  • Lush family lantern lit restaurant

Although the resorts restaurant was perfectly adequate, we always like to eat out and you will have plenty of choice nearby. There was a lush restaurant along the beach and up the hill. Another favourite was a family run restaurant through along the main road, a chilli dish nearly blew my head off though!

The Luxury Spa

I didn’t actually use this as I was more than relaxed and chilled lounging by my private pool but if the standard of the treatments were anywhere near the standard of everything else I’m sure you will not be disappointed.

What is there to do if you are staying at Koh Kood’s Luxury ‘High Season Pool Villa Resort’?

This relatively small island has so much to offer which I cover in another one of my blogs all about Koh Kood. Find out more about the hotel here.

Love My Pictures? Now Available To Buy!

Sneak Preview!

All the photographs on this site have been taken by me which is really important to me. How many times have you visited a blog only to find they have used stock photos. (Probably because they have never actually been to the places they are talking about). Some I am particularly proud of I have made available to purchase via Picfair. Head over to my store and get yourself a print.
